Treat water resistance as a condition, not a lifetime promise
Seals can age and performance can change after impact, servicing or temperature shifts. Do not operate pushers or the crown while the watch is wet, and avoid hot showers, saunas and rapid temperature changes.
Practical care
- Check that the crown is secured before contact with water.
- Rinse salt or chlorinated water with fresh water when appropriate.
- Arrange periodic pressure testing if you rely on water resistance.
